The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is organising a Business Seminar on Thursday 13 June 2019 at the premises of the Economic Development Board of Mauritius (EDB) on the upcoming FOODEX JAPAN 2020 EXPO which will be held from 10-13 March 2020 in Japan.  Accordingly, JETRO has requested the EDB to facilitate the dissemination of invitations to relevant stakeholders in Mauritius.  On behalf of the Johannesburg Office of JETRO, we are pleased to invite you to attend the JETRO Business Seminar on FOODEX JAPAN 2020 EXPO which will be held in the Conference room of the Economic Development Board.

Headquartered in Tokyo, JETRO undertakes the following activities, amongst others:

  • Promotion of Trade and Business between Japan and the rest of the world;
  • Provision of assistance for business expansion of developing countries;
  • Contribution to trade policies and economic partnerships; and also
  • Promotion foreign direct investment (FDI) into Japan.

Kindly note that FOODEX is Asia’s No.1 Professional Trade Show for Food & Beverage -for new markets and target groups, for all the trends, for contacts and business deals.  Around 85,000 visitors are expected to join FOODEX JAPAN 2020. FOODEX JAPAN is designed to be of great assistance in creating and expanding business opportunities in the food industry and to widely introduce information on the latest trends regarding the food industry.
