The payment of the End of Year Bonus is regulated by either –

  1. All the Remuneration Order (Regulations), apart from the Travel Agents and Tour Operators Remuneration Order (Regulations), for workers working in those sectors;
  2. The Employment Rights Act for workers not covered by the above Remuneration Order (Regulations) and drawing wages up to Rs360,000 per annum; or
  3. The End of Year Gratuity Act for workers drawing wages in excess of Rs360,000 per annum and not covered by the Remuneration Order (Regulations), apart from the Travel Agents and Tour Operators Remuneration Order (Regulations)
