Our Services
Business Mauritius offers a range of services designed to support, guide, and connect our members. From expert industrial relations advice and practical toolkits, to training, networking, and exclusive member benefits, our services help businesses stay compliant, competitive, and future-ready.
Industrial Relations Advice & Representation
Our Industrial Relations team helps employers and employees understand and apply Mauritius’ labour laws and regulations. We provide guidance on workplace issues and represent the business community in tripartite negotiations, as well as on statutory boards and committees. By combining practical advice with advocacy, we support businesses in building fair, compliant, and sustainable work environments.
Advisory Services on Labour Legislation
Our Advisory Services provide hands-on support to members in navigating the full spectrum of labour and employment matters. This includes guidance on industrial relations laws and HRM regulations, vetting of contracts, employee handbooks and collective agreements, and tailored advice during inspections or inquiries by the Ministry of Labour. We assist members in their collective bargaining processes, carry out in-house visits and enterprise-specific interventions, and help manage cases involving expatriate employment. Beyond day-to-day support, we also advocate for members’ interests in sensitive IR and HRM issues, represent the business community in negotiations, and promote best practices through training programmes and tailor-made workshops.
