Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Subcommittee

Works with businesses to address workplace inequalities linked to gender, sexual orientation, and other differences. It promotes inclusive policies that ensure equal opportunities for all, while fostering cultures of dignity, respect, and fairness in both workplaces and society.

Explores how technological change and shifting workforce expectations are reshaping the world of work. The Subcommittee reviews emerging trends, labour laws, and engagement strategies to help businesses adapt, strengthen employee satisfaction, and build effective frameworks for retaining talent in a fast-evolving environment 

Focuses on strengthening Mauritius’ talent pipeline by addressing employability gaps, attracting both local and foreign talent, and promoting craftsmanship and vocational skills. The Subcommittee engages with education, industry, and government stakeholders to align efforts, propose policy reforms, and foster conditions that support skill development and long-term talent growth.
